East Devonport Primary School is a government primary school of around 240 students that is located in the city of Devonport, Tasmania. The school was established in 1856 and has a strong tradition of providing quality state funded education for students in Years K to 6 from the surrounding community.
East Devonport Primary School is committed to the goal that every student has the opportunity to learn and achieve to his or her potential. Through the Response to Intervention framework and Raising the Bar strategies, the school fully embraces the Department of Education's priority areas of Literacy and Numeracy and endeavours to live our vision statement of ‘Every Child, Every Day, A Learner’. We provide a comprehensive and balanced curriculum, guided by the Australian Curriculum, that is taught by a team of dedicated, experienced and caring teachers.
